"I come to my mat, and I'm home. Everyday, I am thankful for my practice (on and off my mat.) I cannot justly express the joy, relief and healing that I have gained from my personal practice. I once believed that people don't change. Yoga changed me. This practice has given me perspective, balance and, most importantly, and unconditional gratitude and respect for life."
It is Katy's hope to share the gift of yoga with her students-guiding them through their yoga journeys. Pulling from many styles of yoga, Katy infuses her classes with a fun, challenging flow to strengthen muscles, as well as deep restoration allowing time to truly connect with the breath and open the body and mind. Katy received her 200 hour certification with David Magone studying PranaVayu yoga, a unique style of vinyasa yoga that uses sequencing, skeletal positioning and meditative practices to change the body and free the mind.
